- Do not have access to private dental insurance
- Have an adjusted family net income under $90,000 annually
- Have filed a tax return in the previous year
- Are a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who meets residency requirements

What are the cost considerations?
While the Canadian Dental Care Plan helps make dental care more affordable, it is not always completely free. The program uses a co-payment structure based on your household income. For example:
- Households earning less than $70,000 may receive full coverage.
- Households earning between $70,000 and $79,999 may pay a co-pay of 40%.
- Households earning between $80,000 and $89,999 may pay a co-pay of 60%.

Dr. Marjan Moaveni
Dr. Marjan Moaveni graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours BSc in Nutrition and a DMD Degree in Dentistry from Tufts University in Boston. She practiced dentistry for four years at a private practice in Chicago before moving to London, ON, in 1999. She worked as an associate at a private practice and taught as an adjunct professor at Schulich School of Dentistry before opening Hyde Park Dentistry in 2006. Dr. Moaveni is also a graduate of the Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics and Therapeutics, where she was trained and qualified in botulinum toxin and facial rejuvenation. She aims to provide a great dental experience to all patients.
