How do I remove SureSmile aligners?
SureSmile aligners are easy to take in and out of the smile. They cover the teeth with a tight fit to gradually reposition them in the dental arch. We recommend taking SureSmile aligners out when eating, drinking, brushing the teeth, or flossing. They must be put back in and worn for at least 20 hours daily for the best results.

How many months does SureSmile take to achieve a beautiful smile?
This depends on several factors, including the severity of the misalignment and patient compliance. Patients must be mindful of complying with their SureSmile treatment to get the results in the desired timeframe.

Not following directions will often lead to delays in treatments and sometimes additional costs if new trays need to be fabricated. Most of our patients, on average, are able to attain their final results within approximately one year with proper compliance. More time may be required for more severe cases.

Dr. Ashish Papneja brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and experience to our clinic. He believes in building long-lasting relationships based on trust, respect, and open communication. He earned his dental degree from Boston University, graduating with high honors. Then, he completed a 12-month residency at New York University Lutheran Medical Center, excelling in all facets of dentistry. Dr. Papneja completed this with a second year of residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in dental implants at New York University, becoming a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is among only six percent of dentists who have become a Fellow of the American Academy of General Dentistry. His love for continuous education and teaching sees him as an attending dentist for the general practice residency of Brooklyn’s Brookdale Hospital.
Dr. Marjan Moaveni
Dr. Marjan Moaveni graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours BSc in Nutrition and a DMD Degree in Dentistry from Tufts University in Boston. She practiced dentistry for four years at a private practice in Chicago before moving to London, ON, in 1999. She worked as an associate at a private practice and taught as an adjunct professor at Schulich School of Dentistry before opening Hyde Park Dentistry in 2006. Dr. Moaveni is also a graduate of the Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics and Therapeutics, where she was trained and qualified in botulinum toxin and facial rejuvenation. She aims to provide a great dental experience to all patients.
